List of documents – apartment sale and purchase agreement
The following documents are required to conclude a purchase and sale agreement for an apartment:
– passport, tax code of the owner of the apartment (seller) and passport, tax code of the buyer (if a power of attorney is acting on behalf of one of the parties + the original power of attorney, the authenticity of the signature on which must be notarized, the passport and tax code of such a representative)* – only original documents

– if the apartment was purchased while married and is jointly owned by the seller’s spouses or the buyer buys the apartment while married – consent of the second spouse to conclude a preliminary agreement, the authenticity of the signature on which must be notarized (or the personal presence of the second spouse at the preliminary agreement with the original passport, tax code, marriage certificate) – only original documents
– if one of the parties is a widow/widower – death certificate of the second spouse and marriage certificate – only original documents

– expert appraisal of property
– Extract from the demographic register on the presence/absence of registered persons – only the original document or a certificate from the village or village council*
*notaries are currently connected to this register. You can order this certificate from a notary who will conclude your transaction. The cost of this certificate in Kyiv is UAH 500. A couple of days before the transaction, preferably no less than 3 working days contact a notary, order a certificate! On the day of the transaction, the notary will form the appropriate extract and attach it to the documents that will be submitted by the parties to the transaction.
– the consent of the body of guardianship and guardianship to the conclusion of the contract (provided that the party to the contract or registered in this apartment is a minor, a minor child. Taken at the place of registration of the child!) – only the original document

*if due to religion, a person does not have a tax code, it is necessary to have a stamp in his passport about this fact
* if there are spelling errors in the surname, first name, patronymic of the same person or relatives (for example, in Belchenko’s passport – through “E” in the marriage certificate “BYelchenko” – through “E” you can order a certificate of identity from the specified contacts at site
