THE LONG-AWAITED DRAFT LAW NO. 11440

Bill No. 11440 received the support of 290 deputies and was adopted as a basis Ukraine Kyiv 2024

Bill No. 11440 received the support of 290 deputies and was adopted as a basis.

This document is aimed at helping citizens who have lost their homes in the combat zone, simplifying the registration of real estate in the State Register of Rights to Real Estate (GRRP).

Main provisions:

The possibility of registering the right of ownership of real estate registered before 2013 by the BTI on paper media, even in the absence of BTI archives destroyed by war or occupation.

This will allow you to receive compensation for damaged or destroyed housing through the “eVidnovlennia” program.

For registration, you need a document on the right of ownership with a BTI mark.

In order to avoid fraudulent actions with real estate, a temporary restriction is introduced on transactions with real estate for the period of the war and a year after (a ban on alienation of property!), with the exception of cases of destruction of real estate.

When registering the right of ownership, a ban on alienation is imposed, which can be lifted on the basis of a court decision or after the territory where the property is located is no longer considered a zone without access to BTI archives

The decision was made without additional expenses from the state budget.
